Constituted on September 12, 1793 by James Hoban,
the architect of the White House and our founding Master, Federal is one of the four original founding DC lodges of the the Grand Lodge of the District of Columbia.

Federal helped lay the cornerstones for the President’s Mansion (The White House) and the US Capitol.

With a proud history of spreading fraternity, brotherly love and charity, Federal has almost 200 members located here in the nation’s capital and all over the world.
