Meeting Information

Visiting the Washington, D.C. area? Thinking about becoming a Mason? Come attend one of our meetings!

Federal Lodge No. 1 meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Dinner is at 6:30 pm, Lodge at 7:30 pm.

Meetings are held at the Independant Order of OddFellows (IOOF) Building, 419 7th Street, NW, Washington DC. Federal Lodge is the first Blue Lodge to hold its regular communications in downtown DC in 25 years. The IOOF Hall is immediately across the street from the Lansburgh Theatre.

Via Metro:

The building is readily accessible by Metro at the following stops:
  • Gallery Place/Chinatown (Red, Green & Yellow Lines) (7th & G Streets – 1.5 blocks)
  • Archives, Naval Memorial, Penn Quarter (Yellow & Green Lines) (7th & D Streets - 1 block)
  • Metro Center (Red, Blue & Orange Lines) (12th & G Streets – 5 blocks)

Parking Information:

  • Street parking is available after 6:30 PM on most neighboring streets.
  • Garage Parking is available at:
    Colonial Parking
    The Lansburgh Building (and for the Lansburgh Theatre)
    425 8th Street, NW Washington, D.C. 20004
    Parking entrance for the garage is on 8th Street mid-block between D & E Streets.
    Exit the garage using the 7th Street/Theatre exit. The lodge is directly across 7th street.
    (The garage closes at midnight.)
    Paul Hill, the IOOF attendant, will be at the front door with a validation stamp for your parking.
    Present your validated ticket to the parking lot attendant at the end of the evening. You must inform the Lodge Secretary at the beginning of the evening if you parked in the garage so a list of names for billing can be maintained.
    Brethren are expected to pay half the cost of parking if they use the Colonial Parking facility.
